Paid-up Capital
The Continental Insurance Company has been approved to underwrite general insurance business with a paid-up capital of Rs.50,000,000 and authorised capital of Rs.100,000,000. The sponsoring Directors, their friends and associates already contributed their share of capital of Rs.25,000,000 and shall be offering balance Rs.25,000,000 to general public at the time of its listing on the stock exchanges of the country.
